Story

No one knows what he endured, but he ultimately gained the strongest power in the world at the cost of losing his emotions. He bears the duty of the Watchman of Darkness: to guide the weak into becoming strong like him, and to destroy those who stop moving forward.

Passive

Embraced by Powers

The Watchman of Darkness commands several powers. Each non-ultimate active skill functions as three independent skills that share a cooldown. Hitting an enemy hero with a basic skill grants 1 Dark Energy, up to 3. Each Dark Energy grants 30 (+5% AD) damage block. If he has Dark Energy when casting a skill, holding the hotkey modifier (default Ctrl) releases the enhanced skill. At 3 Dark Energy, the ultimate T: Darkness Descends is unlocked. When the ultimate is not active, casting a skill of a power switches his basic attack effect to that power.

Dawn Strike

Damages one enemy and triggers on-hit effects.

Enhanced: Dark SpikeDeals bonus damage and slows the enemy.

Strike against Hope

Enters unstoppable state and charges for 1 second while able to move, then slashes enemies in range for 80/90/100/120/200 (+1.2 AD) adaptive damage.

Enhanced: Dark Annihilation SlashDeals 150% damage, and enemies too close are feared.

Dimensional Slash

Extends the blade into higher-dimensional space to strike enemies, dealing 50/70/90/120/150 (+100% AD) true damage. Deals double damage to targets marked by R: Blade of Truth and reveals true sight of them for 3 seconds.

Enhanced: Dark PierceAdds true damage equal to 10% of the target's maximum health, increasing by 1% per 50 attack damage, and breaks shields.

W

Formation Pierce

Dashes in a target direction and slashes enemies along the path, dealing physical damage and triggering on-hit effects.

Enhanced: Dark OnslaughtBecomes immune to crowd control during the dash, deals bonus damage, and knocks hit enemies up for 0.5 seconds.

Arcane Hammer

Transforms the weapon into a hammer and smashes a target area, dealing 100/150/180/210/270 (+100% AD) physical damage and applying a 90% slow for 1 second.

Enhanced: Dark HammerDeals 50% bonus damage and stuns enemies for 1.5 seconds instead.

Blink Strike

Blinks beside an enemy and deals physical damage.

Enhanced: Dark BlinkDeals bonus damage and interrupts enemy channels or charge-up states.

E

Dawn Raid

Moves a short distance in a target direction, slashing nearby enemies for physical damage and applying on-hit effects.

Enhanced: Dark RaidMoves faster, becomes immune to crowd control during the movement, and knocks down projectiles he collides with.

Dream-Reaping Sickle

Ruthlessly pulls enemies in the target area in two separate directions.

Enhanced: Last TendernessEnemies who collide with terrain are stunned for 1 second. If an untargetable enemy is hit, that state is immediately interrupted.

Anti-Magic Strike

Slashes a target for physical damage. If an enemy hero is hit, gains a magic shield that absorbs 90/110/200/260/300 (+20% AD) magic damage and reduces the target's attack damage and ability power by 15% for 3 seconds. While the shield exists, it can block 3 enemy skills. If the shield is broken, the next 3 basic attacks deal bonus damage equal to 25% of the shield value.

Enhanced: Dark Anti-Magic SlashDeals more physical damage, grants 50% extra shield value, and instead reduces the enemy's attack damage and ability power by 30%.

R

Dawn Storm

Gains Power of Dawn for 5 seconds, receiving 30%/40%/50% attack speed and 5%/10%/15% bonus magic damage. His attacks release sword energy that deals 25%/37.5%/50% damage to targets in range and triggers an additional on-hit effect. Each enemy hit extends Power of Dawn by 1 second.

Enhanced: Dark StormIncreases the attack speed gained and triggers one more additional on-hit effect.

Debt Collection

Range: 700. Rushes to an enemy hero to settle the debt, cannot be blocked, deals physical damage, and injects an Annihilation Spark for 5 seconds. The spark applies 25% Grievous Wounds. When the enemy moves more than 700 units away, R can be recast as Reckoning to dash behind them. If the target's health is too low, the spark executes them and spreads to enemy heroes too close nearby.

Enhanced: Death's RevengeDeals more physical damage, increases Grievous Wounds to 35%, and reduces the recast distance requirement to 500.

Blade of Truth

Blinks to a target location, dealing physical damage equal to 6%/8%/10% of maximum health to enemies hit, reducing movement speed by 50% for 1 second, and marking them. Marked enemies lose 15%/35%/50% defensive properties for 5 seconds. Defensive properties include shields, armor, magic resistance, damage reduction, damage immunity, tenacity, block, dodge, and effect immunity.

Enhanced: Everlasting DarkDeals true damage instead, and attacks from the Watchman of Darkness extend the mark.

Ultimate T

Darkness Descends

Unlocked when the Watchman of Darkness has 3 Dark Energy. He rises into the air and becomes untargetable. After 2 seconds, he lands and releases all dark power, immediately restoring 20% missing health and revealing true sight of all nearby enemies. He then reveals his true dark form: Dark Energy remains full, all skills are enhanced, and he ignores unit collision for 10 seconds. Takedowns extend dark form by 5 seconds. Basic attacks against enemies reduce all skill cooldowns by 15%. During dark form, his armor and magic resistance are reduced by 25%.
